ABOUT ANIKKA XDR

Hi, I’m Anikka, a fashion creative with a background in Fashion Design and a strong focus on Styling and Art Direction. I began studying Fashion Design at the Academy of Art University in 2020, where I developed skills in design development, garment construction, and creative presentation. During this time, I was honored to receive first place in a fashion design competition in San Francisco and had the opportunity to create custom clothing for private clients.

In 2022, I shifted my major to Styling and Art Direction after discovering my passion for visual storytelling, editorial styling, and fashion communication. Since then, I have actively contributed to the university’s fashion community as a Social Media Content Creator for Beyond The Front Row, the school’s fashion club, where I managed creative content and event promotion. I also serve as a Student PR Assistant, supporting runway shows and contributing articles and visual content to Fashion School Daily, the Academy’s fashion publication.

Alongside my studies, I work at the Styling Closet as part of my work-study program, assisting with wardrobe pulls, outfit coordination, and photoshoot preparation. My goal is to combine my foundation in fashion design with my expertise in styling and art direction to create impactful, visually cohesive narratives that inspire authenticity and individuality in fashion.
